Hotel Info for July 17-19 USSM Meet in Holland, MI

 

For those of you who will be attending the West Michigan Classic meet in Holland and staying the weekend, we have reserved a block of 10 rooms at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Holland for July 17 and July 18 (check out on July 19).  The rate is $189 plus tax/night.  Holland is a very popular tourist destination and the hotels fill quickly, especially in the middle of the summer.  Most are quite full now, if not completely full for that weekend!  If your swimmer is going to this meet and you plan to stay the weekend, the sooner you reserve your room, the better.

The hotel is approximately a five minute drive to the Holland Aquatic Center.  You will need to reserve under your name with your credit card. 

 

Also, on Saturday afternoon, once the afternoon swimmers are finished, the swimmers and families gather at Tunnel Park on Lake Michigan for a picnic dinner of hot dogs and pot luck.  The rooms will have refrigerators and microwaves so it may be a little easier than in previous years to plan for a side dish!
